Other Offerings We Hope to Schedule in the Future
Adult Learn to Ride Group Classes
(101) Adult Learn to Ride Group Class Series (4 classes): Our most popular adult offering is a series of 4 group classes in which you learn how to ride a bike. We start off in an open space, learning how to balance, use the brakes, and get comfortable on the bike. We progress to pedaling and skillbuilding when you’re ready. The first two classes are in an open space riding area and the second two classes are on the bike path, with the final class being a longer graduation ride with a picnic. This relaxed group setting makes learning to ride a bike fun! We find that some people may need more than 2 open space sessions before they are ready for the path - that is totally fine! In this case, we try to schedule them to drop into some additional lessons either with another class series, a single class (see below), or a private lesson. The max class size is 5 students.
4 classes, 90 minutes each (last class is 2.5 hours), $40 per class (sliding scale down to $10/class)

Kids & Adults Together (Intergenerational)
(101) Intergenerational Learn to Ride Class Series (3 classes):
Inter-generational classes are a chance for parents and kids to learn to ride together in a series of 3 classes. We start off in an open space, learning how to balance, use the brakes, and get comfortable on the bike. We progress to pedaling and skillbuilding when you’re ready. We don't usually go onto the path with kids, so inter-generational classes don't either. Sometimes the parents come back to do some practice on the path with another group or a private lesson. The max class size is 5 students. 3 classes, 90 minutes each, $40 per student per class (sliding scale down to $10 per student per class) |
